Connect to a Heart Rate Monitor
You can use a heart rate monitor during training sessions so that you and your coach can see your effort.
Put on Heart Rate Monitor
Devices accepted (ANT (another ultra-low-power) & BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) bands), examples include:
- MyZone
- Garmin
- Polar
Some devices are not accepted, such as:
- Apple Watch
- FitBit
Join your training session and/or answer video call from Coach.
Input date of birth if prompted (used to calculate heart rate zones).
Select band if prompted, or click on purple heart icon to select heart rate monitor.
View color coded heart rate in beats per minute on the screen.
- If you have adjusted/customized zones from your Heart Rate monitor, they cannot be adjusted for this feature.
- To record workout, you must have the specific Heart Rate Monitor App running in the background before joining your virtual session.
Additional Resources
If you see XX for heart rate, try:
- Disconnect other Bluetooth devices and reconnect heart rate monitor.
- Turn off heart rate monitor and turn back on again.
- Adjust/tighten heart rate monitor.
- Ensure heart rate monitor is clean and charged.
